Our Approach

A non-denominational Christian program which focuses on the healing power of Jesus found in prayer, counseling and group classes. House of Hope offers residential placement as well as out-patient services to families and teens.  Weekly classes, support groups, individual counseling is available to both teens and parents.  Parenting skills workshops and family therapy are also available.

House of Hope Portland provides a long-term residential care facility for girls (Ages 13-17) in a Christ-centered, Bible based program to promote living skills and activities for residents among a loving and dedicated staff.  Through Hope Academy we provide educational recovery and offer high school degree completion.

Our Mission

To rescue hurting young people and their families from the destructive forces in our communities.

To offer young people hope and a future through love, Christian counseling, teaching and education based on God’s word.

To assist in healing the hurts and scars from past experiences.

To help free young people from the bondage, which has held them captive, e.g., drugs, physical, mental, and emotional abuse.

To teach young people skills which will prepare them to become solid citizens and an effective part of society.

To provide a safe temporary home, where young people are nourished, clothed, and protected from the damaging influences of society until they are reconciled with their family.
